This information (server log files) includes the type of web browser used, the operating system, the domain name of your internet service provider, your IP address and similar data. This is exclusively information that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.

This information is processed in particular for the following purposes:

We do not use your data to draw conclusions about your person. Information of this type is statistically evaluated by us where necessary in order to optimise our website and the technology behind it.

Mandatory or Required Provision

The provision of the aforementioned personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without the IP address, the service and functionality of our website cannot be guaranteed. In addition, individual services and features may be unavailable or restricted. For this reason, an objection is excluded.

Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.

Of course, you can generally view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies. In general, you can disable the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please use the help functions of your internet browser to find out how to change these settings. When registering to use our personalised services, some personal data is collected, such as name, address, contact and communication data (e.g. telephone number and e-mail address). If you are registered with us, you can access content and services that we only offer to registered users. Registered users also have the option of changing or deleting the data provided during registration at any time if required. We will of course also provide you with information about the personal data we have stored about you at any time.

Legal Basis

The processing of the data entered during registration is carried out on the basis of the user's consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

Recipients

Recipients of the data may be technical service providers who act as processors for the operation and maintenance of our website.

Retention Period

Data is only processed in this context for as long as the corresponding consent exists. It is then deleted, provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.

B2B Registration

Type and Purpose of Processing

Business customers have the option to register as a B2B customer via our B2B registration form. In doing so, we collect the following personal and business-related data: company name, first and last name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number and VAT identification number (VAT ID). This data is used exclusively for the purpose of reviewing and processing the B2B registration and for the subsequent business relationship.

Legal Basis

Processing is carried out for the performance of pre-contractual measures and for the fulfilment of a contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). Where a statutory retention obligation exists (e.g. tax law retention obligations), processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.

Recipients

Recipients of the data may be technical service providers who act as processors for the operation and maintenance of our website.

Retention Period

The data collected during B2B registration will be stored for the duration of the business relationship. After the business relationship has ended, the data will be retained in accordance with statutory retention periods (in particular under the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the German Fiscal Code (AO)) and subsequently deleted.

Mandatory or Required Provision

The provision of data is required for the processing of your B2B registration. Without complete information, it is not possible to review and activate your business customer account.

Newsletter

Type and Purpose of Processing

Your data is used exclusively to send you the subscribed newsletter by e-mail. Your name is provided so that we can address you personally in the newsletter and, if necessary, identify you if you wish to exercise your rights as a data subject.

Providing your e-mail address is sufficient to receive the newsletter. When you sign up to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also be informed by e-mail of circumstances relevant to the service or registration (e.g. changes to the newsletter offer or technical matters).

For a valid registration, we require a valid e-mail address. In order to verify that a registration is actually made by the owner of an e-mail address, we use the "double opt-in" procedure. For this purpose, we log the subscription to the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation e-mail and the receipt of the requested response. No further data is collected. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties.

Legal Basis

On the basis of your express consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), we regularly send you our newsletter or comparable information by e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided.

You may revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time with effect for the future. A corresponding link can be found in every newsletter. You can also unsubscribe directly on this website at any time or notify us of your withdrawal via the contact details provided at the end of this privacy policy.

Recipients

Recipients of the data may be processors.

Retention Period

Data is only processed in this context for as long as the corresponding consent exists. It is then deleted.

Mandatory or Required Provision

The provision of your personal data is voluntary and based solely on your consent. Unfortunately, we cannot send you our newsletter without your consent.

Contact Form

Type and Purpose of Processing

The data you enter is stored for the purpose of individual communication with you. A valid e-mail address and your name are required for this purpose. This is used to assign the enquiry and to subsequently answer it. The provision of further data is optional.

Legal Basis

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

By providing the contact form, we aim to make it easy for you to get in touch with us. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for any follow-up questions.

If you contact us to request a quote, the processing of the data entered in the contact form is carried out for the implementation of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Recipients

Recipients of the data may be processors.

Retention Period

Data is deleted no later than 6 months after the enquiry has been processed. If a contractual relationship is established, we are subject to the statutory retention periods under the German Commercial Code (HGB) and will delete your data after these periods have expired.

Mandatory or Required Provision

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only process your enquiry if you provide us with your name, e-mail address and the reason for your enquiry.

You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, and the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Browser Add-on to Deactivate Google Analytics.
